Our Capacity Transport service allows the operator to connect its network or infrastructure to the POPs and the most important Exchanges spread across the national and international territory. We make the networks available for you, as a single interlocutor, whether they are on optical fiber or on FWA. The service is available in active mode (with capacities ranging from 1GB, 10GB or 100G) or in passive mode, the so-called dark fiber, therefore with the possibility of purchasing a dark fiber which can be activated from time to time following your needs.
If an internet service provider (ISP) operates in a city that hosts large events, such as concerts or conferences, the demand for internet bandwidth increases significantly and could potentially clog the capacity of the ISP's existing fiber optic network. To meet this growing demand, the ISP must acquire additional transport capacity on the fiber optic network.
The Capacity Transport service can be used by the ISP to acquire the additional transport capacity needed to meet demand during events.
